The Quoz Arts Fest is an annual celebration of arts and culture in the bustling Al Quoz neighbourhood. Now in it’s seventh year, this year’s edition was run under the theme of ‘CTRL+ALT+ACTION’, and was aimed at being the most diverse yet. The core focus of the event was to open up dialogue around economic, environmental, and social sustainability.
OMA’s famous piece is located in Dubai’s Al Quoz industrial area, Alserkal Avenue was founded in 2007 with the aim of promoting cultural initiatives in the region. Since then, it has become Dubai’s most important art hub with twenty-five galleries and art spaces. Concrete, a new venue, addresses the districts growing need for a centrally located public space which can host a diverse program.
