1762: JLT's Best Breakfast
Breakfast is such an awesome thing. It gives you the opportunity to begin the day thinking about food and drinking good coffee.
There’s lots of different reasons to have breakfast, it could be a meeting or a quick catch up with a friend during the week, or a much more leisurely affair on the weekend with friends and family.
So with breakfast being such an important event, everyone needs a go to place for this morning ritual. My go to spot for quite a while on weekdays has been 1762 Stripped over in JLT and the reason is simple; great food and good coffee.
There’s a lot on offer in this split level venue from wraps, salads and eggs however you want them, through to juices and pastries. It’s a busy environment that attracts a wide cross section of people, from gym goers to keyboard warriors and everyone in between, which is also part of the appeal. On any given morning, you’ll be a part of a bustling little microcosm of Dubai life.
The food offering has always been fresh and well conceived. Sure it’s a little pricey and sometimes the service is less than perfect but for the most part this is a super reliable breakfast spot that’s worth seeking out even if you don’t live near by, just don’t get too frustrated with wonderful world of roads in JLT. If you persevere you will be rewarded.
I should mention that this is more than a breakfast destination and the versatile menu and ever changing deli section works really well for lunch too. There’s some fantastic salads, along with some hearty hits liked the smoked salmon, their wonderful chicken bap and my all time favorite the Beef Wellington Wrap which I could down any time of day.
In all, whether you’re a vegetarian or not, there’s plenty of options here to start your day right, which is why I tend to think this is JLT's best breakfast locale.
