Surprise Find - Aroos Damascus
If you find yourself randomly driving around Sharjah like I did just recently and really need to eat and love Middle Eastern food then you’re in luck, because Aroos Damascus is an amazing place to stop by. Honestly, their food is some of the best anywhere in the UAE. It’s clear that they care about their preparations and their portions are massive!
While there will not be much English spoken and the interiors are far from being ‘designer’ - none of this really matters because what you’ll end up with on your plate will be simply amazing.
All of the classics are there and they’re all done beautifully, this is one place not to be missed.
Stand outs include the Hommos with Meat (AED 23), the Grilled Quail (AED 42) and the Fattah Shawarma (AED 23).
You could basically order anything - which I kind of did - from their massive menu and chances are it will be fantastic - which it was.
