So the Laksa hunt continues and this time it's Singapore Deli who find themselves on the chopping block. It's a tiny little place with only a hand full of tables but it's namesake offers some hope of laksa glory.
Cutting to the chase, the Chicken Laksa (AED 35) was fairly decent but not the knock your socks off kind of amazing that I was hoping for!

So slight let down. It was composed of a reasonably authentic broth and there wasn't any wrong with it, perhaps could have had a stronger balachan presence and some fresh herbs to pack some extra punch which would have probably elevated it to something a touch more exciting.
Anyway, you win some and you lose some, that's the Laksa Challenge.
