The raison d'etre for paying a visit as always is the food. In this case the alluring promise of some sensational Cuban Asian fusion. Clearly this is a concept with a lot of appeal and has worked well for Asia De Cuba around the world.
From the street to the suite our culinary curiosity has taken us across more than 25 countries and countless cities where we’ve dived head first into what’s on offer.
From hawker stands to Michelin starred restaurants and everything in between our passion for sharing the good life with those close to us sprouts conversation and opportunity.
For this we are eternally grateful.
Thanks for stopping by.

Dubai needs more Axe Houses. Axe House is now Cocktail Kitchen's very grungy and very new replacement and it's a winner.
Welcome to your new local. Nestled in the car park of the double tree Hilton JBR sits the cozy, warm and veritable Scottish watering hole and Gastro Pub the Copper Dog. With down to earth staff and well crafted interiors this is a great spot for post work bevvies.
This is not you're average diner. If you've ever been to the states and eaten at a 'real' dinner you will immediately know that this high end interpretation does the genre justice and in spectacular style. Firebird Diner pays tribute to the iconic American eatery of the 1950s, with some clever menu choices that pay close attention to the details.
Ok so this is going to be one of those reviews that might not please everyone. Play has been around for a while now and has made some pretty bold claims about itself. One such gem is that Play provides an atmosphere of effortless indulgence and creates a sanctuary for everyone who approaches life in a more playful way. What that means exactly I’m unsure but I think it means come down and eat and drink at Play.
We visit the new Japanese - Peruvian fusion experience on the Palm called Aji.
It's not often that I would be at all interested in dining at an obvious promotional vehicle of a car company (pun intended) but Intersect by Lexus is not your average pop up venue or show room but rather a uniquely executed and refined dining concept that just happens to have reference to the brand.
Trying a new place is always a journey and venturing into the new is all part of fun. One of the key things we consider as super important for any outlet is service. So when we dropped by this new venue in an already crowded market place, we thought at the least that all hands would be on deck to provide outstanding service.
Supposedly a Canadian inspired bar - Ten Street offers a clean, semi industrial fit out which is on this evening an eerily quiet locale. Being tucked away in the back corner on the first floor of Al Fattan towers probably doesn't exactly help, you can only hope that they got the place for a song because it's a rather large space.
