I check out Owakudani - also known as Hell Valley to see what the whole black egg phenomenon is all about. On clear days - which are pretty rare - either route delivers spectacular views of the ominous Mt. Fuji.
From the street to the suite our culinary curiosity has taken us across more than 25 countries and countless cities where we’ve dived head first into what’s on offer.
From hawker stands to Michelin starred restaurants and everything in between our passion for sharing the good life with those close to us sprouts conversation and opportunity.
For this we are eternally grateful.
Thanks for stopping by.

You may not know this but Shek Tong Tsui was actually a licensed red-light district back in the early 1900’s which reputedly had over 500 brothels in operation. While those days are long gone, what you can expect to see now is now a rapidly growing hot spot for trendy eateries and of course the market itself.
Geylang contains a vast array of Singaporean delicacies, such as unique local wonton noodle dishes, frog porridge and all sorts of other things fried, boiled and secreted away among the Lorong side streets. It’s a culinary cacophony that takes in Chinese and Indian flavors and it’s always a great food adventure. Singapore’s Chinatown with its colourful Peranakan shop-houses and historical attractions, makes for an interesting visit every time I go there. Essentially, it’s divided into four main districts which are Kreta Ayer, Telok Ayer, Tanjong Pagar and Bukit Pasoh. The main center where a lot of the action goes down is on Smith and Pagoda Streets.
Bintang Walk refers to the more developed stretch along the main Bukit Bintang Road and Sultan Ismail Road roads, with the intersection of these two roads as its axis. This place has been transformed over the last 5 years to become one of the most trendy and busiest shopping clusters in the city.
Bangkok’s Chinatown is a popular tourist attraction and a food haven for a new generation gourmands who flock here after sunset to explore this vibrant Asian Street Food scene.

In case you hadn’t noticed - I love Asian Street Food! Each new city I land in, getting down to the local Chinatown or night market for some street eats is always high on the list. Like pretty much the first thing that I do….
Famous for fine fresh produce, hard-to-find specialty items and good old-fashioned service Melbourne's oldest and very famous Prahran Market goes all the way back to the gold rush days of the 1850's.
Walking through La Boqueria, you instantly feel the history and culture seeping out into your consciousness. The food stalls are beautifully prepared and everyone has their specialty, the mushroom guy, the chili lady, the sweet stand. Everything you could ever dream of is there…
