American BBQ is really starting to make it’s presence felt in Dubai and with the arrival of Dave - with more than 700 awards stuffed in his back pocket, Famous Dave’s new joint at Festival City was always going to be something I needed to be a part of.
On the first stop by it was almost impossible to get a table. Turns out a lot of people are just as excited about the effect fire has on various cuts of meat as I am. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and left us wanting more, especially since the Texas Brisket Sandwich and BBQ Beef Short Rib were so good. Then…….
Anytime there’s talk of smoke and meat, I’m all over it. So it was with great anticipation that I watched and waited and waited for the black and white hoarding of the Mighty Quinn to be brought down and the NYC based smokehouse to open on JBR.
